TREE BRAIDS:

Tree Braids are a unique low maintenance, yet elegant style technique. They may be worn by clients with natural or chemically altered hair. The cornrow aspect of the style allows total scalp access, in order to provide both scalp and hair, with the necessary nourishment, which promotes hair growth. The style takes 3-4 hours to install and lasts an average of 5-8 weeks. If you are the type who washes her hair every week, this is not the hair style for you. Water will loosen your cornrows and it may not last as long. If you want a 'get up & go' hairstyle, tree braids are not for you. Some maintenance is involved.

MICRO BRAIDS:

Micro Braids are an elegant and refined style featuring small, delicate single braids. They are a protective style. They are sometimes called "invisible braids." They come in several different sizes and lengths, and take about 6 to 8 hours to complete. Micro Braids styles are highly customizable. They can last for up to 3 months as long as you redo your edges every 6 weeks.

KINKY TWISTS:

Kinky twists are great for the person with an active lifestyle because they are so easy to maintain. Kinky twists are accomplished  with Marley hair.  They are 2 strands twists. There are different types of twists, the difference is in the type of hair extensions used to create the style. To get the kinky look, you have to use Marley braid hair. For the Senegalese twists, use 100% Kanakelon hair extension to get the smooth and sleek look.

SEW-IN WEAVE:

Sew in weave is adding hair extensions by creating a foundation with a nice firm cornrows, which can be done straight back or in a circular pattern, or in a zigzag pattern. Then add the hair extensions by using needle and thread to sew them in. The best hair extensions to use are virgin remi hair, which can be purchased at my store. I carry Bobby boss Indi Remi, Lord & Cliff Art Gold Remi, Goddess Remi, Velvet Remi, Hollywood Remi hair. I have any length from 8" to 16". I also sell virgin Indian Remi hair in 4oz. bundles. This style take 3 hours to install and it can last up to 3 months once installed.

BOMB, NUBIAN, SPRING, PASSION, & CITY TWISTS:

All the above-mentioned twists are 2 strand twists, the only difference is the type of hair. if you are going natural and you want twists that looks like your own hair - bouncy and full, then opt for one of these twist. They are all twisted with KADI hair, which we carry and sell in the store.

PASSION TWISTS:

Passion twists are installed the same way other two strand twists are done. The secret sauce to passion twists is the tie-in of Freetress Water Wave braiding hair. These bundles offer a curly texture with a silky feel. When installed, your twists will have an almost unraveled appearance that you’d never find in the neat and ultra-tight look of Senegalese or Marley twists.

CORNROWS:

Cornrow hairstyles are a traditional style of braiding the hair close to the scalp. It can be done in straight rows or in complex geometric and curved patterns. It can be left in for weeks at a time with careful washing and oiling of the hair and scalp.

CROCHET BRAIDS:

Crochet braids made a huge debut in 2015 and and it looks like they are not going out of style anytime soon. The most common method is braiding your natural hair into cornrows, after which extensions are looped through the cornrows using a crochet hook. The end result is a seamless style that lets you show off bold hairstyles while your natural hair takes a break.

LOCS, SISTERLOCS, DREADLOCKS:

These are achieved  by using different techniques based on your hair texture. Consultation is most definitely encouraged in order to design a unique technique that is based on your hair texture.

Locs are achieved by manipulating your hair to be matted in order to form locs. Sisterlocs are the smallest form of locs. I call them micro locs. They are easy, protective,  and low maintenance.
